FastenMaster Introduces Enhanced GuardDog Exterior Wood Screw

Agawam, MA (March, 2022) – Fas­ten­Mas­ter has released a new and enhanced ver­sion of their ver­sa­tile Guard­Dog exte­ri­or wood screw. Per­fect for exte­ri­or appli­ca­tions includ­ing pres­sure treat­ed deck­ing, rail­ings, stair stringers and more, this new­ly enhanced fas­ten­er improves on the orig­i­nal which has been used on thou­sands of projects over the last decade.

New addi­tions to the Guard­Dog fas­ten­er include a TORX® ttap® Dri­ve Sys­tem that deliv­ers a stick fit, wob­ble-free instal­la­tion, a sharp Type 17 Point for quick cut­ting into the wood sur­face, and cut­ting nibs under the head to deliv­er a clean fin­ished look. 

Guard­Dog has been test­ed and approved for use in treat­ments such as ACQ and CA‑B, and acidic woods like Cedar and Red­wood. This fas­ten­er is guar­an­teed to pro­tect against rust for the life of the project.

Guard­Dog exte­ri­or wood fas­ten­ers are avail­able in lengths rang­ing from 1 5÷8” to 3 ½” and in quan­ti­ties rang­ing from 75 piece box­es to 1750 piece buckets.
